Dua After Reciting Quran

بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنِّي قَدْ قَرَاْتُ مَا قَضَيْتَ مِنْ كِتَابِكَ

I have recited what You have decreed from Your Book

الَّذِيْ اَنْزَلْتَهُ عَلٰى نَبِيِّكَ الصَّادِقِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهِ

That which You sent down to Your Prophet, the Truthful One - May Allah’s blessings be on him and his family

فَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ رَبَّنَا

So to You belongs all praises my Lord

اَللّٰهُمَّ اجْعَلْنِيْ مِمَّنْ يُحِلُّ حَلَالَهُ وَيُحَرِّمُ حَرَامَهُ

O Allah, Make me from among those who Enforce its obligations and disallow its forbidden acts

وَيُؤْمِنُ بِمُحْكَمِهِ وَمُتَشَابِهِهِ

Believe in its clear and its ambiguous verses

وَاجْعَلْهُ لِيْ اُنْسًا فِيْ قَبْرِيْ

And make it a companion for me in my grave

وَاُنْسًا فِيْ حَشْرِيْ

And a companion in my rising

وَاجْعَلْنِيْ مِمَّنْ تُرَقِّيْهِ بِكُلِّ اٰيَةٍ قَرَاَهَا

And make me among those who rise for every verse recited

دَرَجَةً فِيْ اَعْلٰى عِلِّيِّيْنَ

a rank of the most Elevated

اٰمِيْنَ رَبَّ الْعَالَمِيْنَ

Aameen, Lord of the Worlds
